Full, Complete Dentures
Complete Dentures
Complete dentures are what we commonly refer to as “false teeth.” They are also called “full dentures” and are often used when all your natural teeth are missing. Complete dentures are removable as they are held in place by suction. There are various types of complete dentures: standard dentures, precision dentures, digital dentures, immediate dentures etc. At West Point Denture Clinic, we offer complete denture solutions to best accommodate your needs.
Removable, Partial Dentures
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are sometimes referred to as “removable partial denture prostheses” or “partials.” They may be used when nearby teeth are not strong enough to hold a bridge, or when several consecutive teeth are missing. Partial dentures are made up of one or more artificial teeth held in place by clasps that fit onto nearby natural teeth. You can remove partial dentures yourself for comfort and for cleaning. All partial dentures are constructed and designed differently. At West Point Denture Clinic we provide partial denture solutions that are unique to each patient.
Durable, Implant-Retained Dentures
Implant-Retained Dentures
If you are having trouble with your complete dentures, your dentist may suggest implant-retained dentures or “overdentures”. An implant-retained denture can be fixed or removable, and fits over the prepared natural teeth left in your mouth or over dental implants. If there are no natural teeth remaining, implants are placed into the jawbone. The implant-retained denture attaches to the dental implants providing a secure and stable fit. At West Point Denture Clinic we offer implant-retained dentures and coordinate implant treatment options.
Maintenance, Relines & Repairs
Relines & Repairs
Repairs restore a fractured or damaged denture close to its original condition. Over time as your gum tissue changes, relines are advised to keep your dentures fitting well. At West Point Denture Clinic we provide denture repair procedures and tooth additions on a same-day basis. It is recommended that you conduct a semi-annual oral examination to ensure your dentures are in good working order from day-to-day use.

Akash Kumar, R.D.
Denturist
Akash Kumar, R.D., was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and introduced to the dental industry in his early childhood when his father, a Dental Technician for over 45 years brought Akash to his dental laboratory for the first time. Today, Akash is one of few who has successfully completed his education as a dental technician and denturist in BC. Akash brings extraordinary education and experience from both specializations to best serve his patients. Akash has always cherished the community he has grown up in, representing his city in various competitive sports and organizing many youth soccer development camps. He also dedicates time to providing denture services to a local non-profit health center, enriching the community one smile at a time.
